Third semester Berklee student and seasoned performer Sissy Castrogiovanni will be unleashing her inner creative spirit in an upcoming performance with guitarist Edoardo Musumeci, who has flown in from Italy for the show. Sissy and Eduardo make special use of a looping machine to create innovative sounds and songs. Sissy, who will be providing voice and percussion, is an active performer in the Berklee community and has sung in numerous jazz festivals in Europe, winning many accolades along the way. Eduardo is a guitar player, composer, and arranger who works with many of the most prominent music labels in Italy.
The show is titled LOOPED EMOTIONS: Improvisation vs Loop Station, and promises “an original travel through Afro, Jazz and Soul.” Be sure to check it out this coming Tuesday, November 2nd at 4:00 p.m. in the 1140 Building’s recital hall 1A.
