BSAN Announces Lineup of Fall Student Showcase

The Rare Occasions, featuring Berklee students Jeremy Cohen and Luke Imbusch

Press release submitted by Kelly Soule

The Boston Student Arts Network (BSAN) is excited to announce the lineup of their upcoming Student Showcase. The 10 groups/performers represent various schools in the Boston area and different musical genres.

The aim of the Showcase is to unite the colleges and universities of Boston and celebrate the musical talent the city holds. It fills a void in this “collegetown” which lacks a central event for students to perform outside of their school’s walls.  BSAN Founder/Director Kelly Soule explains the reasons behind this event. “Many of these students aren’t music majors so performance opportunities at their schools aren’t necessarily open to them.  We look forward to the adding the Showcase as an annual event and are confident it will be as successful as our Boston Student Film Fest last spring.”

The showcase will take place on Sunday, November 11th from 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm at Limelight Stage and Studios at 204 Tremont Street in Boston.

Tickets can be purchased on the BSAN website.

Anyone interested in sponsoring or participating in the event can donate to the Showcase’s Kickstarter project at  www.kickstarter.com/projects/591451334/bsan-student-showcase?ref=email or contact Kelly Soule at Kelly@bostonstudentarts.org.
