Rep Records to Present: Local Music Festival Benefit for Cancer Research on 4/26

Submitted by Jeremy Cohen

Michael Levinsohn, General Manager of Rep Records and member of Frank & Dependent, will be hosting Red Records’ premiere event – the Backyard Block Party. There will be food provided, local bands performing, and booths filled with cool stuff at the festival. The best part of the night is that ALL of the proceeds will be donated to the Jimmy Fund to support cancer research and care at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. What better way to enjoy great music and company than to help support such an awesome fund?

Here’s the lineup:

Frank & Dependent will be headlining.

Orca Orca

Raised in the suburbs of Richardson, TX, Anjimile’s sunny southern harmonies and upbeat instrumentation juxtaposed against her sardonic lyrics create a symphony of sarcasm and soulful grooving.
