Berklee Groove Sessions is a twice per semester performance opportunity for Berklee students and collaboration between Berklee Groove, Caf Shows, and The Birn. Created to give a more intimate performance experience opportunity to both singers/songwriters/performers and the Berklee community at large, Groove Sessions hopes to be a destination spot for students looking for opportunities to perform!

MYIA THORNTON IS AN MP&E MAJOR & GRAMMY U AMBASSADOR AT BERKLEE. SHE IS ALSO A MEMBER OF BERKLEE’S A&R CLUB. WE’RE EXCITED TO HAVE HER HOST GROOVE SESSIONS!

STAY TUNED FOR WHEN FALL SUBMISSIONS OPEN. YOU MUST BE A CURRENT BERKLEE STUDENT TO BE CONSIDERED. IF YOU HAVE PERFORMED AT A PREVIOUS GROOVE SESSION, YOU ARE INELIGIBLE TO APPLY AGAIN.

  1. EMAIL YOUR MUSIC VIA LINKS OR MP3s TO thegroove@berklee.edu
  2. INCLUDE ANY PERTINENT CONTENT WE SHOULD SEE (website, social media links, etc.)
  3. THAT’S IT! WE WILL RESPOND WITH DECISIONS WITHIN ONE WEEK OF THE DEADLINE TO SUBMIT.
