After a two-year hiatus, Perry’s sixth studio album is a triumphant yet authentic return to the industry stage.

Do you have sensitive skin? Are you looking for skin-nurturing products on a budget? Look no further! I’m going to share with you a brand I’ve discovered that will transform your skincare routine into a far more simple regiment.

To preface, I have incredibly sensitive skin. When I first moved to Boston, I broke out in hives from the water and had to wash my face with a Brita water filter. Air-borne allergens can give my skin a reaction. I can’t put anything on my face that I haven’t poured over the ingredients of, and I have an absolute laundry list of ingredients that I can’t use. I’ve lived with infant levels of skin tolerance for my entire life, which has made me an unofficial expert in products that are extremely gentle on the skin.

What are these magical products? They’re Vanicream! Vanicream is a pharmaceutical brand based around using the least amount of ingredients possible and most of their products contain less than 15 ingredients total, which is honestly astounding. They have a number of non-irritating products for all your skincare needs, including face wash, body wash, moisturizer, sunscreen, deodorant, hydrocortisone, and lip care! My favorite part about Vanicream is that every product is free of fragrance, silicone, dyes, masking fragrance, lanolin, parabens, formaldehyde, formaldehyde releasers, preservatives, soap, oil, cocamidopropyl betaine, sulfates, and gluten. While that can seem intimidating at first, it simply makes these products extremely gentle, as well as non-comedogenic, meaning they won’t clog or infect pores like some products with silicone/dimethicone.

It can be a little difficult to come by considering it’s not very well known at this point, and while it’s packaging is not exactly eye catching, it’s simple and clean, perfectly matching what’s inside. I’ve only found it at Walgreens and Target, but it is reaching more and more stores as of late, so look for the simple blue and white packaging of Vanicream to try it out for yourself.
